Jonathan Chait makes it just simply partisan. Today's opionion section in the times includes an Op-Ed by Jonathan Chait titled The Republicans' poison pill. It's a good enough coverage of the issue(s), but hey, this is about old people who are vulnerable and even helpless, it's not about political warfare.
