Miami Herald, also missing the point.
Everyone is paying more, much more for their drugs this year. I'm talking about the "average" income group among seniors, i.e. around $15,000 per year. Here's yet another article focused on the so-called short-term fix, getting the drugs to people now (of course, that's important). But where's the story about the big Orwellian-ly labeled "drug benefit" put in place by "compassionate conservatives" in order to get re-elected? As the Miami Herald notes, it's "
one of the biggest entitlement programs, ever," but exactly who is being entitled here? It sure isn't seniors, of any stripe.
